Excellent assessment and consultation, including 3D avatar creation and a book to take home. The only huge problem is that the surgical costs (over €45,000 for multiple surgeries, depending on the case) are usually only covered by health insurance (if at all) from stage III onwards. This has nothing to do with Lipocura, however; it's a flaw in the system. Communication is transparent, comprehensive, and empathetic, and nothing is "sold." I highly recommend Lipocura for diagnosis. No gaslighting, and competent doctors.

I had my initial consultation in November 2024. I felt warmly welcomed from the very beginning and was taken seriously. Unfortunately, this has never been the case with many other doctors. The consultation lasted almost two hours, and I received detailed, understandable, and professional advice. Even after the initial consultation, they remain in regular contact, and I can contact them at any time if I have any questions. At the end of November, I had my first surgery. During and after the surgery, I received very good care and treatment. The nurses looked after me with great compassion. It's now about three months since the surgery, and I couldn't be happier. A big thank you to the fantastic team. Especially to Dr. El-Asfar, who always took the time to listen to all my questions and concerns.

Even after the initial consultation, you stay in regular contact, and you can contact me at any time if you have any questions. You also receive a book with useful information about lipedema, as well as a journal where you can record your thoughts, important events, progress, etc. I can wholeheartedly recommend Lipocura.
