I had a swallowable gastric balloon inserted at Dr. Ispikoudis' Clinic Aesthetics. The insertion was then performed at an external radiology clinic. Although I was informed about possible complications, after only three days, once the balloon had deflated, I experienced neither a feeling of fullness nor a reduction in my meal intake as promised. At first, I thought the balloon had burst, but that wasn't the case. A follow-up appointment was scheduled at the radiology clinic, which I had to arrange myself. In short, the product itself is excellent and expensive (there are better options available), but the follow-up care and support are nonexistent! I also couldn't contact the doctor again; I only received a brief reply via email. The practice only has an office; there's no ultrasound or X-ray equipment. While he is a doctor, he doesn't specialize in gastroenterology, so I cannot recommend him. The nutritional counseling provided by Ms. Gerecco is excellent and therefore the only positive aspect.

I had the gastric balloon procedure and am very satisfied with the result and the care I received. Even during the initial consultation, the specialist provided me with comprehensive and expert advice. As discussed, I lost approximately 15 kg within six months and felt very well cared for by the entire team throughout the entire process.
