Editorial Policy
How BeautyGuide handles authorship, medical review, sources, data and corrections.
Authorship
Articles and treatment guides identify their author when that information is recorded. When no individual author is recorded, the editorial team is named as an organisational fallback; this does not imply medical expertise.
Qualified medical review
A named medical reviewer is shown only when the record is marked reviewed and includes the reviewer’s name, credentials and review date. Otherwise, we say that medical review is not recorded, pending, or not required.
AI assistance
Some content may be prepared with AI assistance. Any available disclosure is shown on the page. AI assistance is not evidence of medical review.
Fact-checking and source hierarchy
Editors use sources appropriate to the claim, including primary clinical or public-health guidance, peer-reviewed research, professional bodies and reputable reference sources. Persisted citations are linked; missing sources are never invented.
Persisted dates and corrections
Published and updated dates appear only when persisted in our records. Report factual, medical or editorial errors, ranking or review data, clinic listing data, or copyright concerns. We review reports and publish updates or correction notes where warranted.
Clinic verification scope
Listing or identity checks cover only the specific fields and evidence displayed. They are not a blanket certification of clinical quality, safety or outcomes. Google totals are imported Google Business Profile aggregate data and snapshots; BeautyGuide does not independently authenticate each reviewer.
Rankings and market isolation
Rankings are stored monthly snapshots. Each page states its generated date, period, source metrics, threshold and qualifying count. Rankings are not a medical or safety endorsement. Switzerland and Turkey markets are isolated; data is not silently combined. Commercial visibility may exist elsewhere on the site.
