Very satisfied with how thorough my dental hygienist was with cleaning my teeth. It did not feel rushed at all — unlike over a year ago. She also explained and showed me how to use these tiny brushes.

Worst experience ever!!!!!!! Pathetic dentist and staff. Totally unprofessional attitude. I had an appointment with dent. Marion Dörig Stubljar at this clinic for extraction of two wisdom tooths in November. It took her around 1 hour to remove one tooth after a lot of struggles. She had to give me multiple injections of local anesthesia during the procedure, while she hit trigeminal nerve with one of the injections leading to very unpleasant electric shock like experience. When asked if this is normal, she said I think it hit the nerve. She was clearly struggling to remove the tooth and completely lacked skills and tactics that I had to ask her not to proceed with 2nd tooth extraction. It has been a worst nightmare of my life with this clinic and the dentist. I was not given any antibiotics, not explained the post extraction care methods or consequences, there was no proper cleaning of mouth cavity was performed after the extraction. The next day after the procedure I developed uncontrolled pain and swelling due to infection and abscess formation in mouth and neck leading to life threatening situation where I was unable to breath and started choking. When I called the doctor for appointment, I was told that doctor is busy and cannot see me immediately, I was just sent a pain killer prescription via email. In few hours when the swelling and pain went intolerable and I started choking to death due to swelling on neck, I walked into their clinic and after waiting for 20 minutes I was attended by Dentist. Considering my condition, I was immediately sent for emergency treatment in the university hospital. Due to the abscess formation leading to potential spread of infection into the vital organs of the body, I had to undergo two emergency surgeries to drain the infection from the body. One of these surgeries left the permanent scar on my neck and loss of sensitivity in the tongue and lips. The overall experience with the staff, clinic management and Marion Dorig has been horrible. I would highly recommend against this clinic and dentists. Avoid them at all costs. Response to your comments: Wow, this is amazing!!! The main reason I was not prescribed any post surgery medication by your dentist to control infection was my great oral hygiene (in dentist’s own words). Aboveall, I do not smoke at all as confirmed to the dentist prior to the surgery. If dentist was not sure about patients oral hygiene, and other factors, she should have taken all appropriate measures to prevent the infection, and she didnot do that. It is clear that infection was caused by wrong surgical procedure ( i.e. long surgery time, no post surgery medication to control infection, no proper cleaning of the wound and stitches to completely close the wound and potential use of non sterile instrument) that led to the blood, saliva collection inside the wound ultimately leading to life threatening abscess formation. If a dentist does'not know her job, they should stop playing with people's life. And stop blaming your faults on patients.
